Chair

My family and I have lived at Christina Lake for over 30 years.  During that time we have seen our children grow up, neighbors come and go, changes in the community, and also changes to the lake itself. I have been in the lumber industry for over 40 years working throughout North America, and have seen the positive impact good decision making can have on a Community. I am fortunate to be the Chair of the CLWPOS.  We will work hard to ensure that fact based decisions form the basis of all of our efforts to make Christina Lake the best lake in the world.

Dr. David Merry

Dr. David Merry

Dr. David Merry is a physician practicing in Christina Lake. His family has owned property at Christina Lake his entire life, and he has lived at the south end of the lake since 1989. In addition to his medical degree, he has degrees in Biology and Animal Sciences. David served as a CLWPOS interim board member as a member-at-large. He has also worked on local committees for incorporation, and the first community development plan.

Director

I’m married with 2 children, who provided us 4 awesome grand children. We both went to high school in Grand Forks in the 70’s and started our family shortly afterwards. We moved to Surrey in the mid 80’s for our careers but still vacationed at Christina Lake often at the family cabin.
We returned to Christina Lake for retirement in 2016 where we both reside.

The current Christina Lake Waterfront Property Owners Society Board would like to take the opportunity to pass on our sincerest thanks to all contributing members and prior serving board members. Together, we have helped to create and maintain a strong united voice for our beautiful lake and home.
